Who we are

We are Adult Financials Unlimited also referenced simply as “AFU”. We are a Doing Business As (DBA) of “Reed Tax & Accounting” also referenced as “Reedtax” or simply “RTA”. We as whole are a tax preparation, payroll, Insurance and financial services company. Where as AFU is the division responsible for most Financial Services & all Insurance aspects of the company as a whole. AFU in Partnership with the NikoVash Empire, LLC are responsible for the advertisement of both the main company and the DBA as well

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. All data may be viewed by employees of RTA, AFU and the NikoVash Empire, LLC for security and compliance and legal checks. We do not sell or distribute your data to other third-party vendors.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For users who fill out contact forms for all products there is a minimum amount of time we must keep this data on file for compliance and legal reasons. These times vary depending on products/services ranging from no less than one year and extend all the way to 10 years time. This data may not be kept directing on this or any server, and may be kept in a secured server separate from this one or in hard copy form per the regulation for such content. You are always free to inquire about such content, generated by you, but understand we may not be able to destroy the content for compliance and legal reasons UNTIL the time allotment as expired for the generated content in question.

For users of our cloud services we only retain the data you give that site, once that data is deleted by the end user or your service representative and the eventual backup is purged (normally biannually) the data is gone. Except in the event of personal data relating to the login credentials. All data on the cloud service site is double encrypted, and your account can be permanently closed, purged or reset per your request to [email protected] at anytime. We do not store password data for this site ever!

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Compliance checks are also provided by the NikoVash Empire, LLC

User Generated Data & Marketing Data

This distinction applies to any forms, either digitally or physical media that you have filled out and is referenced as User Generated Data (UGD), this extends to any marketing forms, return mailers, physical contact cards, Scope of Appointment forms, or phone responses to any and all advertisements from any source.

We are obligated to keep these forms on file for varying amounts of time for legal and compliance reasons, you may request copies of said documents at any time, digital copies shall be provided free of charge, physicals copies may incur shipping and handling charges that must be paid for by you the user. You can only request your own data or data that you are the legal guardian or representative for.

By providing this data to AFU, you understand that it may be used by AFU, RTA & NikoVash Empire, LLC to inform you of products or services you have requested OR attempt to sell or market to you products or services that you may have been interested in.

Please note if you express to us that you are no longer interested in our products or services or ask to be removed from all calling/marketing lists, filling out a new contact card or contact form WILL put you back into our system, thus each new request for information MUST be followed by another request to be removed.

Scope of Appointment forms and Medicare information/services forms are only good for one year from the date of request/issuance but we do have to keep this data on-file for up to 10 years in either physical or digital form

Telephone and Video-Call Recordings

Starting October 1st, 2022 all phone calls and Video-calls (Zoom, Facetime, etc) for certain Medicare services must be recorded per the regulations of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). These recordings must be kept on file for 10 years. You may request a copy of these calls at any time only for yourself, or any person you may be the legal representative for. We cannot destroy the originals until 10 years has elapsed. All digital copies are available free of charge. Physical transport of the media may incur shipping and handling charges (EXAMPLE: a CD or USB thumb-drive, sent via USPS, the user may be responsible for the cost of the media and the cost of the shipping method).

Please note that if you were not originally listed as a legal representative of the person in question you will be asked to provide proof that you currently are and this data must be verified before we can distribute any recordings or data. We apologize for any delays this may incur but we take data privacy & your privacy as a whole, extremely seriously!

Digital distribution of these file(s) may happen via the cloud services provided by either RTA, AFU or the NikoVash Empire, LLC, after confirmation you have received said file(s), the copy will be deleted from those servers, but the original will stay on file for the legal required amount of time. (Currently 10 years)

Data Breeches

We (AFU, RTA & NikoVash Empire, LLC) are required to inform you of any and all data breeches. Please note that in certain citations certain kinds of breeches have to be cleared through compliance channels before we are authorized to inform you, the user. we will attempt to contact you through any and all channels you have given us for contact EVEN if you have asked us to be removed from lists or contact avenues.
